Our South Indian Dhivya Desham will consist of 95 temples which includes 13 Dhivya Deshams in Malai Nadu (Kerala), Guruvayur, 18 in Pandiya Nadu including Nava Thirupathi (Madurai and Thirunelveli), 40 in Chola Nadu (Kumbakonam), 02 in Nadu Nadu and 22 in Thondai Nadu. (Kanchipuram and Chennai)

Day 1

On our first day, we start at 6.30AM from Chennai by visiting: 

1. Thiru Vellikeni temple

2.Thiru Ida Venthai(Tiruvedanthai)

3.Thiru Kadalmalai

4.Thiru Neermalai temple

5.Thiru Evvul (Tiruvallore).

6.Thiru Nindravoor

Have dinner and stay at the deluxe hotel in Sholingur

Day 2

Kanchipuram Temples

1.Next we move on to Thirukkadigai – to visit Sri Yoga Narasimhaswamy Temple,

2.Next we visit Thiruputkuzhi, to visit Sri Vijayaraghava Perumal temple

3.Thiru Kacchi (Kanchipuram): The presiding deity Sri Varadharaajar

4.Thiruvekka: The presiding deity is also known by the name Sri Yathothakaari

5.Ashtabuyagaram: The presiding deity Sri Aadhikesava Perumal.

6.Thiru Ooragam: Presiding deity is Sri Ulagantaha Perumal.

7.Thiru Neeragam: The Presiding deity of this kshetra is Sri Neeraganathan, he is also known as Jagadeeshwarar.

8.Thiru Kaaragam: Sri Karunakara Temple

9.Thirukkar Vaanam: The presiding deity is Sri Thirukkarvanar

10.Thiruprameshwara Vinnagaram: Lord Vaikunda Perumal Paramapaada Nathar is the presiding deity

11.Thiru Pavala Vannan: The Presiding deity of this sthalam is Sri Pavala Vannar

12.Thiru Paadagam: Next we proceed to visit Sri Pandava Thoodhar temple

13.Thiru Nilathingal Thundam: This temple is said to be 1000-2000 years old, the presiding deity is Sri Nilathingal Perumal

14.Thirukkalvanoor: The presiding deity of this temple is Aadhi Varaha Perumal

15.Thiru Velukkai: The presiding deity of this sthalam is known as Narasimhar

16.Thiruthanka (Thoopul): The presiding deity here is known as Deepa prakasar

We then proceed to the hotel in Kancheepuram for dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 3

We start at 5 A.M. and proceed to Thiruvaheendhipuram.

Thiruvaheendhipuram and Thirukkovilur Temples

1.Thiruvahindhipuram: The presiding deity in this temple is Sri Devanatha Perumal

2.Thirukkovilur: The presiding deities of this divya desham is Thiruvikrama Perumal.

3.Thiruchitrakootam: The presiding deity is Lord Govinda Raja facing east direction with a yogic posture.

4.Kaazhicheeraama Vinnagaram: Thadalar Seerkazhi Thrivikraman Perumal is the presiding deity here.

5.Thiruvellakkulam: The Presiding deity of this dhivya desham is Sri Srinivasan.

6.Thiru Davanaar Thogai: The Presiding deity of this dhivya desham is Sri Deva Nayagan

7.Thiruvaali: The Presiding deity here is Lakshmi Narasimhar

8.Thirunagari: The Presiding deity here is Vedarajan in a seated posture facing west,

9.Thiru Kavalampaadi: The Presiding deity of this temple is Sri Gopal Krishnan.

10.Thiru Manikkoodam –The Presiding deity of this Dhivya desam is Sri Varadharaja Perumal

11.Thiru Paarthanpalli – The deity of this temple is Sri Thamaraiyal Kelvan Perumal

12.Thiru Manimaada Kovil – The presiding deity is Narayanan

13.Thiru Arimeya Vinnagaram -   The presiding deity is Thiru Kudamakoothan

14.Thiru Thetri Aambalam – The presiding deity is Sri Senganmaal Ranganaathar

15.Thiru Sempon Sei Kovil –The Presiding deity of this temple is Sri Peralulalan

16.Thiru Vann Purushsothamam – The presiding deity of this temple is Sri Purushottaman.

17.Thiru Vaikunda Vinnagaram – The presiding deity is Vaikuntanathan with his consort Godess Vaikunthavalli.

End of Day -3, we proceed to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Myladudhurai

Day 4

1.Thiru Indhaloor – The presiding deity of this temple is Sri Parimala Ranganathan

2.Thiruvazhunthoor – The presiding deity is Sri Devaadi Raja Perumal

3.Thiru Sirupuliyur – The presiding deity is Sri Arulmaakadal Perumal

4.Thirukkanapuram – The presiding deity is Lord Neelamegam

5.Thiru Naagai –The main deity is Neela Megha Perumal

6.Thirukkananankudi: Visit the Loganatha perumal temple

7.Thiru Thalaicchanga Naanmathiyam – The Presiding deity of this sthalam is Sri Naan Madhiya Perumal in a standing posture.

Return to hotel for Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 5

Kumbakonam Temples

1.Thiru Thanjaimaamani Koil –The Presiding deity of this temple is Sri Neelamega Perumal

2.Thirukkandiyur – The presiding deity is Hara saabha Vimocchana Perumal

3.Thirukkoodaloor – The presiding deity is Lord Jagathrakshangan

4.Thirukkavithalam - The presiding deity is Sri Gajendra Varahda Perumal

5.Thiruppullam Bootankudi – Sri Valvil Ramar Perumal Temple

6.Thiru Aadhanoor – Sri Aandu Alakkum Ayan Perumal Temple

7.Thirukkudanthai – Sri Saarangapaani Perumal Temple

8.Thiru Vinnagar – Sri Oppiliappa Perumal Temple

Return to hotel and overnight stay at Kumbakonam

Day 6

After breakfast we proceed to:

1.Thirunarayoor (Naachiyaar Koil): The presiding deity is Thirunarayur Nambi

2.Thiruccherai – The Presiding deity of this temple is Saranathan Perumal in a standing posture in the eastern direction.

3.Thirukkannamangai- The presiding deity is Sri Bhaktavatsala Perumal

4.Thirunandhipura Vinnagaram –The presiding deity of this temple is Sri Jagannathan.

5.Tiruvelliyangudi –The presiding deity is called Kolavilli Raman with his consort Godess – Maragadhavalli

Go back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Trichy.

Day 7

Trichy Temples

1.Thiruvarangam: The name of the presiding deity is Sri Ranganathan.

2.Thirukkozhi: The presiding deity is Azhagiya Manavala Perumal

3.Thirukkarambanoor: The Presiding deity of this sthalam is Purushottaman

4.Thiruvellarai: The presiding deity of this temple is Pundarikashan

5.Thiru Anbil: The presiding deity is Vadivazhagiya Nambi Perumal

6.Thirupper Nagar – The presiding deity is Sri Appakkudathaan Perumal

We then proceed to Madurai for dinner and overnight stay

Day 8

After breakfast we start to Pandiya Nattu Dhivya Deshams

We visit:


2. Kallazhagar

3. Thirumogoor

4. Thirumeyyam

5. Thirukkoshtiyur

6. Thirutthangal

7. Srivilliputhur dhivya deshams

Return to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 9

We start to Thirunelveli Dhivya Deshams

Nava Thirupathi

We visit the following temples –

1. Srivaikundam

2. Thiruvaraguna Mangai

3. Thirupulinkudi

4. Irettai Thirupathi

5. Thirukuzhandhai

6. Thiruperai

7. Thirukolur

8. Azhvaar Thirunagari

9.  Vaanamamalai

10. Thirukkurunkudi.

After dinner stay at Thirunelveli.

Day 10

After breakfast resume our Journey to Kerala Temples


1. Thiruvanparicharam

2. Thiruvattaru

3. Anantha Padmanabha Swami Temple

4. Attrukkal Bhagavathi Amman Temple.

Proceed to hotel and stay at Thiruvananthapuram

Day 11






5.Thiruvallabha and proceed to hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Day 12





4.Guruvayoor temple

5.Thirunaavai. End of Yatra

6.Thiruvithuvakkodu and stay overnight at Guruvayoor.

Essentials to be carried during Kailash Manasarovar Yatra

The southern states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala have a hot and humid climate in the months of May to July, the temperature ranges from 30 degree Celsius to a peak of 38 degree  Celsius. Evenings are relatively cooler. There are chances of occasional rains due to cyclonic depression.

Yatrees are requested to bring following clothing during the tour:

• Light loose cotton wear – 7 nos .

• Sarees for women (this is mandatory as some temples in Kerala, do not allow women clad in non-customary outfits, such as, Salwars etc.

• Dhoti for Men (mandatory for Gents, some temples do not allow men clad in shirt and trousers).

• Yatrees are advised to carry additional sets of Sarees and dhotis, as laundry or washing facilities would not be available during the journey.

Note: As part of the practice and customs of the Temple, it is mandatory for women to wear dhotis and women to be dressed in Sarees in some of the temples in Kerala and Tamilnadu. Medicines:

• Vicks vaporub, Paracetamol and Antibiotics (as prescribed by your doctor).

• Please carry your regular medicines for chronic ailments such as B.P., Diabetic etc. (Consult your doctor before taking any medicines as some medicines cause allergies, irritations for some people).

• Sun block creams.

• Skin moisturizer.

• Water purification tablet.

• Eye drops for burning eyes.

• Tooth paste and brush.
